PhD Program
The Centre has a PhD program with both full-time and part-time enrollment options, in the following four specialization areas:
- Microelectronics, VLSI & Embedded Systems (VLSI & ES)
- Signal Processing & Communication (SPC)
- Radar & Communication (R & C)
- Microwave and Millimeter Waves
Presently, about 60 PhD scholars are pursuing research in the above areas in EE Dept. Admissions to the PhD Program are conducted twice every year in July and December. M. Tech
The department of Electronics Engineering offers a Master of Technology (M.Tech) Program in Electronics and Communication Engineering with four specializations: Signal Processing & Communication (SPC), Radar & Communication (R&C), Defence Electronics Systems (DES), and VLSI & Embedded Systems (VLSI &ES). The Program has a sanctioned strength of 75 students each year comprising of GATE qualified candidates and Self sponsored/ Indusrty Sponsored/ MoD sponsored candidates in the in the above areas of specialization.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission:
The eligibility criteria and GATE paper codes for M.Tech admission in department of Electronics Engineering with four specializations SPC, R&C, DES, and VLSI & ES are as follows:

2. Full time students sponsored by govt. organizations/ industry/ self-sponsored.
Industry sponsored short-term couses/ training courses/ certificate program/ M.Tech Program
The EE Dept. also conducts the customized short term courses/ training/ certificate course to cater to the needs of the private industry and govt. R & D organisations like BEL, DRDO, Bharat Dynamics etc. These are the demands made by the organisations from time to time.
In addition to the above programs, EE faculty also teach courses in PG teaching programs offered by the other department.
